KIDS' WORK MAKES KR
It's always exciting for us to receive kids' work from a running classroom. Recently we received Log-a-Mile charts from Carla Uhrmacher's class in Nebraska City, Nebraska. In exchange, we sent each of Ms Uhrmacher's students full sets of running bookmarks. Maybe your students can do the same.

trophyDear Kids Running,
My students have made stories, poems, pictures, tips and letters which are enclosed. They would like bookmarks.

Thank you for your Web site. We have lots of fun running and playing games as we investigate fitness,
Sincerely,
Carla Uhrmacher

Freedom
Run, run, thump, thump,
over the bridge and I'm there.
I stop and breathe but that's a dream but I'm not free.
I'm at a track meet. It's my turn
I keep thinking about freedom, freedom,
but wait I'm there I've won.

Sneakers by Chloe, too.

Quiet
Running
is very quiet
you see
thump, thump, thump, thump.
