![]() RED RIBBON RUN TO READ AND WRITE PROGRAM Directions for the Goal Setting Activities ![]() Run to Read and Write Table of Contents Kids may set as many goals as they like and record on record sheet when completed. The goals may have to do with running, sports, fitness, health, nutrition, academics, or values. Here are some examples of goals: 1. Run around the high school track twice without stopping. 2. Attend and finish a local fun run. 3. Run a mile in 8 minutes. 4. Run 10 times this month, play basketball every week, and go swimming twice. 5. Do 30 crunches everyday. 6. Eat less junk food and more vegetables. 7. Complete my homework before I watch TV. 8. Cooperate with my teachers more. 9. Help someone else with their running by running with them and encouraging them. 10. Be a better sport in team activities.
