Becky: Billy, I have been baking cookies, again.
Billy: Becky, I like cookies. May I have one?
Becky: Billy, yes, you may have one if you can run VERY fast.
Billy: Becky, I can run very fast.
Becky: Then, run, Billy, run! Try to catch Gingerbread Boy!

There are so many ways to make reading fun. Reading a play is one way. My kids in my first grade class are learning these scripts and will be putting a Becky and Billy play on for parents on Valentine's Day.
