Here are the latest programs from our friends at pecentral.org. December 2, 2007 PE Central offers a collection of online programs which motivate children of all ages to become physically active. Take a look and you might find one to fit with your school's needs. Registration is required. Some were temporary (e.g. Coleman Everest 5.5 Challenge) but many are long standing. Most are free. Stop at every capital. GET ACTIVE STAY ACTIVE LOG WEB SITE For 4th graders and up. Record physical activity minutes and/or pedometer steps. Create an online log. Earn awards and certificates. PE CENTRAL CHALLENGE For 4th and 5th graders. Learn skills like throwing and catching. Cooperate and more. There is a small registration fee involved with this program. KIDS QUIZ 4th - 6th grade.
