HEALTHY SNACKERS ULTRAMARATHON
Classroom Kids Fitness and Healthy Snack Program by Carol Goodrow

kiwi Dear Parents,
We are officially starting our Healthy Snackers UltraMarathon this week. We have listed 50 healthy snacks and are trying to include all of them in our healthy snack program. If your child brings any healthy snack to class, he/she gets a sticker on our 'chart stand' chart.

If your child is the first to bring in a healthy snack listed below, he/she also gets to write his/her name next to the snack on our bulletin board chart and that snack is then checked off! Here are the 50 snacks on our list. Try to find some of the more unusual snacks on the list that your child will eat and send one in each day.
Thanks for your support,
Mrs. Goodrow

KR LogoNote from Carol: The kids in my classroom are excited about this new healthy snack program. They understand that eating healthy is good for their hearts and for their health in general but they probably are bringing healthy snacks to school, mainly, for the fun of getting their names on our chart and the promise of a 'prize' at the end of our UltraMarathon.

Please follow us as we reach for our goal of 50 healthy snacks and if you are a teacher, feel free to use a similar program in your classroom. On completion, award your children with a fun run, a ribbon, or a trip to the classroom treasure box.
