The City of Morgan Hill remains one of only two cities in the Bay Area that continues to have all-day events surrounding the 4th of July. Our 4th of July Celebration includes a 5k & 1mile run/walk, parade, family festival, fireworks and entertainment show, patriotic sing and other activities. In 2007, the events drew over 50,000 people and the parade itself is the largest privately organized parade in all of Northern California. All profits support Morgan HillŐs Independence celebration.

The course is flat and fast through parade route through downtown Morgan Hill - many of the parade spectators will be along the course and will be cheering you on!
