The Kokopelli Kids Trail Running Series is designed to introduce children pre-school through 8th grade to the sport of trail running in a fun, challenging and rewarding environment.
The Series will kick off with a Pre Event Running Clinic April 30th, 5:30 pm at Bear Creek Park East hosted by 1985 Boston Marathon Champion - Lisa Rainsberger who will go over training tips, nutritional tips, equipment and running shoe needs, and will include a fun jog around the actual racecourse.
Kids will be encouraged to ask questions!
Each participant will receive a hi-tech shirt, finishers ribbon, refreshments, and at the series final on May 16th participants will receive hot pizza and beverages sponsored by Old Chicago Restaurant.
Each event will be timed and race results will be posted on the event web-site www.KokopelliKids.com following each event. Participants finishing in the top 3 in each age group at the series final will receive custom trophies.
