A Hop, Skip & a Jump Start is the perfect way to foster a family love for exercise! For its 2nd year, the stroller-friendly 5K run starts at the Children's Museum plaza, follows the Platte River and will be filled with surprises around every corner. After the race, children of all ages can participate in mini-meets and a whole day of fun outdoor events!

This event focuses on the joys of healthy competition, the pride in engaging in exercise, and how tasty and easy it can be to make wise diet decisions. It addresses health and nutrition for each and every member of the family; even those who might be crawling or toddling to the finish line!

All proceeds go to support the Children's Museum of Denver's educational programs, distinctive, well-maintained playscapes, and lots of resources and supplies that encourage both children and adults to engage, play, grow and learn!
