FROSTY CARROTS
Kids, don't waste all of your carrots on your snowmen. Make a healthy snack for school tomorrow. Here's what you need and what you have to do.INGREDIENTS 1 carrot
1/2 teaspoon white or brown sugar
DIRECTIONS
Have Mom or Dad slice a carrot into quarters, the long way. Then cut each quarter in half. You should have 8 pieces of carrot.
Put the pieces of carrot on a microwave safe plate. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon white or brown sugar on top. Cover loosely with some plastic wrap and then microwave on high for 2 minutes or until a little soft. Let cool. Refrigerate over night. Pack with 'cool pack' for school snack so they will stay frosty cool.

A Carrot is More than a Nose to a Snowman by Mr. and Mrs. Snowman
We are Mr. and Mrs. Snowman. We don't have skin. We don't have hair. We don't have gums. But we have eyes made of coal. We can see for miles and miles. Carrots and Vitamin A help our eyes see at night. And what are we looking at? A thermometer, of course. It's across the street on Mr. Smith's house. We watch it day and night. We hope the mercury will stay below 32 degrees Fahrenheit so we won't melt. We think it's 20 degrees now. We would like to say, "Thank you," to Jaylen for giving us our carrots.
